With summer in full swing, construction and development are heating up across Wesley communities, bringing fresh progress and exciting new additions.
Wesley Bradley Park Phase II
We are still waiting for the City of Puyallup to issue the building permit for the Barndt Family Rehabilitation & Care Center. Once we receive the permit, we’ll have construction happening for the East Brownstone and the care center. While parking is tight with all the construction movement, we still welcome visitors to the campus and have reserved some guest parking in front of The Lodge and West Brownstone for those interested in meeting with Joan or Nicole.

We are getting closer to seeing the walls go up on the East Brownstone. When walls go up, the building starts to take shape quickly. It also signals the beginning of the customization period and the countdown to the fall 2025 deadline. Our finish boards showing color schemes and upgrade options are in, and we will have pricing in early July. If you reserve an apartment in the East Brownstone, you can select which color scheme appeals to you and choose upgrade options such as appliances, flooring, countertops and window treatments. Hurry, there are only a few months left before these options go away.
Congratulations to our first 10 families who have chosen their new East Brownstone residence! For those who have yet to choose your home, what are you waiting for? We have new reservations coming in every week!
Wesley Des Moines Phase IV

With a stunning club room, intimate studio theater, and model train room, the second floor in the Terrace is undergoing an amazing transformation. Former assisted living studio apartments are becoming beautiful one- and two-bedroom independent apartments. Fifteen families have already reserved their new home in The Terrace. Move-ins are scheduled to begin the first week of August. We still have three apartments left on this newly remodeled floor! If you are interested in reserving an apartment in The Terrace, please contact Lindsay at (206) 870-1205.
Once the remodeling of the second floor is complete, crews will move downstairs to start renovating The Terrace Auditorium, dining room and kitchen. With valuable resident input, plans are taking shape for the new Julia C. Moser Performing Arts Center. Early peeks of the design show a surprising transformation. We look forward to sharing visuals in the near future.
Wesley Des Moines Phase V – Creekside

InSite Architects is designing a new independent building for the Des Moines campus where the former care center still stands. Creekside will have approximately 100 apartments on 4 floors over one level of parking. The Creekside Lifestyle will be similar to the Brownstone Lifestyle offering a la carte dining, monthly housekeeping and its own club room for group gatherings and entertaining.
We’ve been finalizing apartment plans, financial projections and architectural drawings. The construction team is collaborating with subcontractors to design the mechanical, electrical and plumbing for Creekside. Our schedule shows permit documents will be submitted to The City of Des Moines in July. At this time, we expect to start construction toward the end of March 2026.
Wesley Spring Glen
We continue to work with our development team and King County with hopes of starting construction in 2026 and opening in late 2028. Our architect is making minor changes to the plans to remove spaces previously identified for Nativity Lutheran Church. These slight modifications give us more gathering space on the main floor and a more direct entry with a sightline through to a two-story hearth room.

This should be a striking visual looking out on the courtyard and natural areas behind the building. Here’s a sneak peek of the dining and private dining spaces, bistro and event center:
We are currently accepting priority list reservations and anticipate restarting apartment reservations later this year. If you are interested in getting on the list, contact us today.
