It’s New Year’s Eve as I write this note to you. Traditionally, it is a day to reflect upon the past year as we welcome in the new year. Wesley had many accomplishments in 2025. We completed the remodel of the second floor in The Terrace at Wesley Des Moines. We eliminated the use of nursing agency staff companywide. Our customer service ratings improved. We saw our highest level of philanthropy ever. Wesley community’s reached average occupancy above 95%. The list could go on, but there’s more to come in ’26!
As we look at 2026, we are excited about our construction projects on the Wesley Bradley Park and Wesley Des Moines campuses. These projects will craft more independent accommodations that are much needed. Continued staff developments create a more engaged workforce and a sense of belonging amongst our staff. The result: We see higher quality standards of care for Wesley residents and continued success in our culture of philanthropy and in all areas of operations.
Most importantly, we are blessed to have you: residents, staff, clients and friends who support us in everything we do. Without you, we would not be able to accomplish what we have and overcome the many other challenges that we face. It makes me excited that there’s more to come in ’26! I am so very proud to be part of Wesley!
