by Katheryn Howell, Director Community Health Services Years of wear and tear can be hard on your feet. So can disease, bad circulation, poorly trimmed toenails and wearing shoes that don’t fit. This week, our wellness nurses and select foot care aides received specialized foot care training by Dr. Julia Overstreet. Dr. Overstreet is a podiatrist and wound care specialist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She brings this experience together with an understanding of the latest medical literature to provide important and usable training that will advance our home health foot care practice. Take advantage of this specialized training and expertise. Talk to your wellness about booking a foot care appointment. You can always call the home health office at 206-870-1127 to book that appointment as well.
