In Wesley’s Development Update for May, things are moving along at our Puyallup, Des Moines and Renton locations!
Wesley Bradley Park Phase II
The footprint of the East Brownstone is visible now that most of the first floor deck is complete. The City of Puyallup is finalizing their review of the Barndt Family Rehabilitation & Care Center, and we expect to receive the permit soon. Once we receive the permit, construction will be going in both locations on campus. While parking is tight with all the construction movement, we still welcome visitors to the campus and have reserved guest parking in front of The Lodge and West Brownstone.
We are close to receiving our first 10 reservations for the East Brownstone. As a reminder:
- The first 10 families to reserve an apartment in the East Brownstone get the best choice of apartments.
- The first 10 families will also receive our Early Bird Move-In Package worth up to $5,000.

Our contractor and design team are finalizing the apartment upgrade options. These include flooring, appliances and window treatments among other upgrade options. We anticipate having visual design/finish boards and pricing for customizations available in late May. You’ll want to sign up now to take advantage of the opportunity to customize your apartment.
Wesley Des Moines Phase IV

Those on our priority reservation list at Wesley Des Moines can now reserve apartments on the second floor of The Terrace. These newly remodeled apartments are on schedule to be ready the last week in July. If you are a member of our Des Moines Captain’s Club and are interested in reserving an apartment, please let us know (if you haven’t already).
Residents have been working with Wesley staff to provide input for the new Julia C. Moser Performing Arts Center in The Terrace. Morrison Senior Living is assisting in the design for the new dining room and kitchen. Early peeks of the design show a surprising transformation. We look forward to sharing visuals in the near future.
Wesley Des Moines Phase V – Creekside
InSite Architects is designing a new independent building for the Des Moines campus where the former care center still stands. Creekside will have approximately 100 apartments on 4 floors over one level of parking. The Creekside Lifestyle will be similar to the Brownstone Lifestyle offering a la carte dining and monthly housekeeping. The building will include a club room for group gatherings and entertaining.

We’ve been finalizing apartment plans, financial projections and architectural drawings. Our construction team is collaborating with subcontractors to design the mechanical, electrical and plumbing for Creekside. The City of Des Moines is currently reviewing documents and working with us toward permitting.
Wesley Spring Glen
We continue to work with our development team and King County with hopes of starting construction in 2026 and opening in late 2028. Our architect is making minor changes to the plans to remove the offices previously identified for Nativity Lutheran Church.
These slight modifications give us more gathering space on the main floor and a more direct entry with a sightline through to a two-story hearth room. This should be a striking visual looking out on the courtyard and natural areas behind the building.
The bistro, originally planned for the main floor, will be moved to the second floor. This adds efficiency to the dining activities by bringing them closer to a central kitchen. Also moved to the second floor, the Chapel & Event Center will be slightly smaller and overlooking the rear courtyard.
Amenities on the first floor will also have more space. This allows Wesley to enlarge exercise areas and provide a better flow for the theater, craft room and salon.
We are taking reservations for these upcoming residences. Become a Priority Reservation List member, and be one of the first to select your apartment! Contact us today for details about Wesley Spring Glen.
