With early site work completed in December, construction has begun on the new East Brownstone at Wesley Bradley Park in Puyallup. Walsh Construction commenced work on the 161,040 square foot building on January 6.
This new addition will add 67 apartment options for 62+ independent living community.
“We are really excited about this new Brownstone and the extra amenities it will have,” said Campus Administrator Karen Williams. “Golfers will get a kick out of the golf simulator in the game room and the outdoor putting green off the back patio.” Other outdoor amenities include raised garden beds, a barbeque pavilion, and bocce ball court.

Indoors, a comfortable club room invites residents and their guests for happy hour and special events.
Game Room
As an added feature, the East Brownstone Game Room will have a multi-sport simulator for golfing, bowling, baseball and other fun activities.
Residences
Now that construction is commencing, the Wesley Bradley Park community relations team is now taking reservations for the spacious new independent living apartments. The East Brownstone is scheduled to open in approximately 2 years. The apartments range in size from a 950 square foot one bedroom to a 1,630 square foot two bedroom with a sunroom.
“People have been asking me when they can sign up,” said Community Relations Director Joan Engle. “My colleague Nicole [Johnson] and I can’t wait to start showing floor plans and help people select their new home. We’re starting to make calls this week.”
The new East Brownstone has a few familiar floor plans from the existing West Brownstone like the Whidbey and Vashon. There are some new interesting plans, too, including more one bedroom plus den/sunroom layouts in the 3-story addition. And, it has underground parking for one car as well as a storage locker for each apartment.
