In 2014, Wesley launched a multi-phase redevelopment of the south side of its Des Moines retirement community to provide for more modern amenities and independent lifestyles. Construction on the last phase of the redevelopment has begun and is expected to be completed in 2024. The new building will offer a new fitness center with a state-of-the-art swimming pavilion, more independent apartments and cottage homes, Catered Living apartments, Memory Care Assisted Living and a brand new care & rehabilitation center.
