BP East Brownstone Corner

Wesley Development Update April 2025

A lot of exciting construction is happening at Wesley communities in Puyallup, Des Moines and Renton!

Wesley Bradley Park Phase II

East Brownstone Level-1

The East Brownstone garage is almost complete. The construction crews are now backfilling the building with dirt from the care center location. We are waiting for the City of Puyallup to sign off on the building permit for the Barndt Family Rehabilitation & Care Center. Once we receive the permit, construction will be happening in both locations on campus.  While parking is tight with all the construction movement, we still welcome visitors to Wesley Bradley Park. We’ve reserved parking for guests in front of The Lodge and West Brownstone.

We have our first reservations for the East Brownstone, and our community relations team is working with several other families who are ready to select their apartment.

Reserve early at Wesley Bradley Park! The first 10 families to secure an apartment in the East Brownstone get the best selection and an early bird move-in package worth up to $5,000.

Wesley Des Moines Phase IV

The new apartments on the second floor of The Terrace at Wesley Des Moines are coming along nicely. They are on schedule to be ready the last week of July. We’ll start taking reservations from our Priority Reservation List members later this month.

Residents have been working with Wesley staff to provide input for the new Julia C. Moser Performing Arts Center in The Terrace. Morrison Senior Living is assisting in the design for the new dining room and kitchen. Early peeks of the design show a surprising transformation. We look forward to sharing visuals in the near future.

Wesley Des Moines Phase V – Creekside

InSite Architects is designing a new independent building for the Des Moines campus where the former care center still stands. Creekside will have approximately 100 apartments on 4 floors over one level of parking. The Creekside Lifestyle will be similar to the Brownstone Lifestyle offering a la carte dining and monthly housekeeping. The building will include a club room for group gatherings and entertaining.

We’ve been finalizing apartment plans, financial projections and architectural drawings. Our construction team is collaborating with subcontractors to design the mechanical, electrical and plumbing for Creekside. Our goal is to start construction around September/October 2025.

Wesley Spring Glen

We continue to work with our development team and King County with hopes of starting construction in 2026 and opening in late 2028. Our architect is currently in the process of modifying the plans to remove the offices previously identified for Nativity Lutheran Church.

The slight modifications give us more gathering space on the main floor. There is a more direct entry with a sightline through to a 2-story hearth room. This should be a striking visual looking out on the courtyard and natural areas behind the building.

The bistro, originally planned for the main floor, is now located on the second floor. This change adds efficiency for the culinary team and dining activities by bringing them closer to a central kitchen. Also on the second floor, the Chapel & Event Center is slightly smaller and overlooks the rear courtyard.

Amenities on the first floor now have more space. We can now enlarge the exercise areas and provide a better flow for the theater, craft room and salon.

We are taking reservations for these upcoming residences. Become a Priority Reservation List member, and be one of the first to select your apartment! Contact us today for details about Wesley Spring Glen.
